KRZ's Summer Smash featuring Adam Lambert!

The gang over at 98.5 KRZ invited us to help out with the photography at their Summer Smash at the FM Kirby Center. In addition to these concert shots, we also brought our event photography equipment and covered a Meet and Greet with Adam Lambert. If you were one of the VIP ticket holders, you should have received your souvenier pic with Adam last night. I hate to admit how many frames I had to shoot to get the marquis picture with both Adam and ZRZ on the board at the same time! Even though my D3 can shoot 10 frames per second, those words go by really fast!

Dance rage.

We always have fun at Occhipinti School of Dance. But this year, Lauren was in a foul mood. Her verbal abuse of me was nothing compared to the her physical attacks on other members of the staff. Through it all, though, the dancers stayed focussed. Hopefully, tomorrow night's sessions will go better - it's Lauren's night off!

What a day yesterday. Blazing sun, plenty of heat, and a great couple with some fantastic friends!

Something Old ...

Emilie came to the studio today to do a formal pre-wedding portrait. In addition to her wedding dress, she also brought wedding dresses that had been worn by her family. She and her mom have some great ideas for these images but I don't think I'll spoil any surprises with this little sneak peek!

80 degrees - mid-April - Really?

Sierra and Jayme took full advantage of the perfect weather for an engagement session at a few spots around NEPA. They have great chemistry that just kept shining through every shot. Their wedding next fall will be spectacular!

Froggy 101 - Guitars and Stars 4!

Last night we attended Froggy 101's fantastic acoustic concert at the Scranton Cultural Center featuring Neal McCoy, Clay Walker, Chris Cagle, and American Idle Season 10 finalist Lauren Alaina on the main stage, as well as Jana Kramer and Casey James in a session reserved for fans who purchased the Star Experience package.

At night's end, Froggy 101 celebrities presented the American Cancer Society with a very generous donation in excess of $5000!

Here are a few shots - and if you are wondering why Chris Cagle is wiping away some tears, it's because the crowd started singing along to his song.

I don't know much about the Children's Advocacy Center but they have a very impressive display in front of the Lackawanna County Courthouse. Hundreds of pinwheels represent each child they've helped in 2011.
