Kennedy - Ready for her Closeup.

This is Kennedy. She's the new arrival at our old friends, Jason and Michelle's house. This look of contentment comes from a bottle, a fresh diaper, and a new pink tutu.

Jumpin Jeff and Amanda!

The past few weeks have been a bit crazy! Bridal shows and some really fun new projects have kept me pretty busy.

Among our new projects are some materials we've been developing for the great folks over at Entercom Communications - home of WKRZ, Froggy 101, WILK and The Mountain. So last week we got to spend some time with almost all of the show hosts - including our new friends Jumpin' Jeff Walker and Amanda from KRZ. So keep watching the websites for your favorite radio stations for some of our new pics!

Ain't no party ...

Living near Scranton, I am often reminded of Michael Scott's famous poem on "The Office" - "There ain't no party like a Scranton party - cuz a Scranton Party don't stop."

Bad news Scrantonians, there ain't no party like an Indian Wedding. This is Nanci. I took this photo at midnight of day 4 of her Wedding.

Special Effects.

I'm working on some wedding marketing materials and took the time to convert this image to look like a vibrant oil painting. I find that a camera's faithful reproduction of a scene sometimes fails to convey the impact that the scene had at the time. I know the sky wasn't THAT blue and the grass wasn't THAT green, and the colors of dresses and flowers wasn't THAT vibrant. But I also know that these exagerated colors more accurately convey the emotion of the image - and I think that's what makes the image work.

Madison.

Madison is one of my favorite models. I first started photographing her about 5 years ago in her dance classes. Her candid pose became the studio's billboard.

She's been on my blogs for family portraits, dance classes and recitals.

Today she came back for a Sweet 16 portrait. Thanks to a perfect sun and a great model, we got some pretty neat shots. Here's a little look back over the years.

Twofer.

I love to shoot on location. I find studios to be confining and repetitive. So when Jen invited me to photograph her son and daughter in their home, I was thrilled to find a chaise lounge and big windows! Throw in a couple kids and their friends from next door and you get two great sessions!
